United service stations across QLD launch 6 cent discount on E10 fuel

United Petroleum has announced that it has dramatically cut the price of all E10 fuel across Queensland for a limited time.

United will leverage its growing scale in new site builds and network upgrades, to redefine the biofuels landscape by making it’s E10 fuel six cents per litre cheaper than it’s already discounted regular unleaded fuel price right across Queensland.

“United shares the Queensland Government’s vision for a sustainable biofuels sector, however, all of our research and feedback has clearly identified that price is the key driver for E10 purchases,” Gary Brinkworth, CEO of United Petroleum said.

“E10 is a Queensland-made biofuel and now local motorists will get a special Queensland-only discount price.”

“We took the decision that the best way in which we could support the Queensland Government’s recent biofuel mandate was by taking this direct and decisive action and encourage motorists to make the switch”.

“We know that once consumers try our E10 they’ll enjoy the extra zip and cleaner fuel system in their cars and we’re sure that drastically reducing the price of our E10 clearly demonstrates that we are playing our part in fuelling growth for regional Queensland and creating a cleaner environment for the next generation.

The United Dalby Bio-Refinery in the Darling Downs region is Australia’s first grain-to-ethanol production facility, and manufactures the ethanol for United’s E10 and E85 Fuels.

United Petroleum currently has over 400 retail service stations and unmanned locations nationally.
