Benetas to service Geelong DVA Prestige Inhome Care clients

Victorian aged care provider, Benetas has expanded its services to the Geelong region by taking on the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) Community Nursing Services previously provided by Prestige Inhome Care.

Prestige Inhome Care has been looking for a provider to take on its DVA Community Nursing Services in order to allow the business to focus on the other rapidly growing business opportunities in the Barwon Region. After due diligence, Benetas was selected as the provider of choice to continue to deliver these services in the region.

Benetas CEO Sandra Hills said that Prestige Inhome Care has been providing a wonderful service for Veterans and we are delighted to be able to continue this care and expand our services to the Geelong region and beyond.

“We understand the importance of our veterans getting the support they need within their home and take very seriously our obligation to deliver this.”

CEO of Prestige Inhome Care Nick McDonald said the organisation chose to work with Benetas due to its ability to deliver excellent aged care services.

“They [Benetas ] are a leading, for purpose aged care provider in Victoria with 70 years of experience in aged care. They direct all profits back into services and invest heavily in social dividend programs such as pastoral care for all clients, and research and innovation activity.”

While the transfer occurred on 1 July 2018, the process is still in a transition phase and Prestige Inhome Care and Benetas are working together to ensure this transition is as seamless as possible.

Benetas provides a comprehensive range of aged care services including Home Care, Retirement Living, Residential and respite services. Offering this end-to-end service is uncommon with only two percent of Australian providers offering all of these services.
